Devoted fans of the pop star are urging that a person who breached a fence and seized the actress during the recent Wicked: For Good launch be arrested or removed from Singapore.

A widely shared footage shows the individual from Australia pushing past camera operators and rushing toward Grande while the performers walked down a event pathway surrounded by fans.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo quickly guided the shocked star away from Mr Wen, who was seen being removed of the event by guards.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram recently that he was "let go after being arrested", though legal records showed that he was due to attend court on Friday morning. It is uncertain if he was faced legal action.

Record of Incidents

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Controversial Figure", has crashed a concert or event. His Instagram feed includes recordings of him disturbing other celebrity events, including breaching the performance area at the artist's Sydney performance in recently and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers concert in the area last year.

"Steps should be implemented enforced against him as this is obviously a punishable act," commented an Instagram follower, in a message to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his act.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" a different Instagram user questioned.

Followers Express Concern Over the Star's Safety

Many fans accused Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had spoken of experiencing PTSD after a suicide bomb attack at the finale of her 2017 performance in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and wounding hundreds.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" wrote one more comment on Instagram.

Several fans also criticised security officers at the premiere for not being sufficiently alert; while others demanded online networks to ban Mr Wen's videos.

Reaction and Premiere Information

In clips circulating online, Grande looked shocked when she was touched by the man. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen reassuring her while Mr Wen was escorted away by guards.

Grande has not commented on the situation, and the remaining proceedings continued without further issues.

Hundreds of fans had assembled in a mass of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific launch in a Singapore mall, including several who had stood in line for as long as a significant duration before it commenced.

The film, to be premiered on November 21, is the second of a dual interpretation of the acclaimed stage musical Wicked, which focuses on the unlikely relationship between two very different sorceresses.

The show itself is a adaptation of the classic story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the good witch Glinda, was dressed in a champagne pink glittering gown at the premiere while Erivo, who acts as the wicked witch, wore a sleek black dress decorated with roses.

They were accompanied by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the most successful film of 2024 in the UK, and scored 10 award recognitions, winning a pair for outstanding attire and artistic direction.
